  • STATE manager - NEW SOUTH WALES

$100k - $120k pa plus commissions plus profit share

We are seeking an individual with entrepreneurial skills and the drive to build upon an existing base of referencable customers in a state that has historically proven to be a challenge for our organisation.

With a solid footprint in all other major Australian states and a service reach boasting AsiaPac coverage, our NSW office needs a strategic go-getter to accelerate growth, expand upon existing relationships with key partners, stabilize the NSW customer base and be passionate about playing a key role in the next growth chapter for our organisation.

We need an achiever with an ‘up-start’ mentality and the ability to pick up a phone (at will) and cold call a potential client in the endless quest for new business and company acclaim. The remuneration is fair, the targets are achievable (albeit tough) and for the first time in the history of the company we are offering profit share in the success of the state.

  • The role will be a challenge - sales people looking for a free ride need not apply.
  • The state team is small - you must have the ability to work autonomously (not simply think you can)
  • The solutions are complex - must have a head like a chook (good at picking things up!)
  • The expectations are grand – we need a winner

Experience in selling Cisco product, voice, data and videoconferencing solutions is a key advantage.

The successful candidate will be confident and have proven experience in selling complex solutions at board room level, as well as driving new sales and retention opportunities to completion. Excellent presentation and communication skills are a must for this role.

Key Duties will be:

  • Developing new business within NSW market
  • Retention of existing NSW customer base
  • Report, follow-up and attend sales meetings
  • Responsibility of personal and state sales target
  • Develop a technical skills based understanding of the organisations suite of products
  • State representation at management meetings as per required

  • Project managers - victoria and western australia

The main focus of the role is to successfully manage the installations of Cisco Unified Communications projects. It will test your ability to deliver on time and within budget. You will need to be a proven expert in communicationg with key stakeholders including the customer, suppliers, technical teams both internal and external.

To be successful in this role, the following skills are desired;
• Certification in project methodologies such as Prince2, PMP or similar would be ideal
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure with high levels of accuracy
• A Technical background (Help Desk, Desktop Support, 2nd Level Support)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience in telecommunications would be highly advantageous
