Older style analogue phones can be used with the Comscentre solution using a ATA.
Cisco Analog Telephone Adapter
The Cisco ATA enables the use of analogue devices (such as fax, eftpos & franking machines) to be used on the IP network. It provides access to all functionality of an IP phone via the use of key-codes whilst on the phone.
Each ATA can support up to 2 analogue devices.
Use the ATA to deploy:
- Fax machines without needing to install new telephone points
- Existing analogue telephones
- Existing analogue cordless telephones for use over long distances
- Multiple EFTPOS machines
Also available is a larger ATA, delivering up to 48 analogue extensions to the IP network.
