The flagship product of the Cisco range, the Integrated Services Router, or ISR for short, is a very clever device which is modular in its design. This means that the ISR is completely customizable for any situation.

The Cisco ISR includes the Cisco IOS, an intelligent operating system which allows for rapid deployment of new applications over any network. It also comes with module slots which are interchangeable, allowing the ISR to cater for any size network.

By using the Cisco ISR with interface cards for ISDN & ADSL, coupled with the Call Manager Express application, Comscentre are able to deliver a fully functional PABX environment running over the existing IP network & cable infrastructure, which is expandable up to 200 users and above.

Additional applications which can be deployed include advanced firewalling, media management, voicemail and other next-generation technologies.
