Comscentre recently secured a multi-million dollar managed service contract and rollout for Cisco Meraki switching, wireless and routing. The solution, being rolled out to 1150 Flight Centre retail stores throughout Australia, is one of the largest single sales to an enterprise customer in Australia.
Comscentre customer, Flight Centre Travel Group, is installing Cisco Meraki’s cloud networking equipment across 1150 sites, supported by Comscentre’s managed services. The solution consists of wireless access points, cloud managed security appliances and power over ethernet switches which will be installed by Comscentre over a period of several months in 2016. This further extends the support Comscentre currently provides to Flight Centre through other services.
Through the company’s unique One Touch Control enterprise telecoms management suite, Comscentre consolidated Flight Centre Travel Group’s telco suppliers into one portal. This enables Flight Centre to more easily manage their data and voice service providers and ensure that service level agreements are being met.
Comscentre Managing Director Ben Shipley said, “Utilising the information gained through our One Touch Control system, we were able to analyse Flight Centre’s network and IT structure and provide recommendations for improvements”.

One Touch Control assists Flight Centre to manage all components of their business communications services, from billing to support.
