Central Coast Holden Drives Down Communication Costs

Leading car dealership Central Coast Holden has improved communications between two of its sites and slashed costs by more than $60,000 over the term of its contract with a new Voice over IP system by business telco Comscentre.

Comscentre, which specialises in providing unified communication solutions, installed Cisco’s Call Manager Express across the company’s Gosford head office and remote Tuggerah site to not only improve communication and reduce costs, but to drive productivity gains and increase sales opportunities.

“Central Coast Holden needed to replace its ageing PABX system and streamline voice communication between its offices. The Call Manager Express system was installed over six days, with 29 Cisco devices installed at the Tuggerah site and 43 in head office.” Comscentre Senior Network Engineer John Kennedy said.

Central Coast Holden is the only authorised Holden dealership and vehicle repairer on the Central Coast employing around 100 staff across the two sites.

The company’s Call Manager Express system allows for free calls between the company offices and free fleet mobile to mobile calls.
