Comscentre Comets raise money for Diabetes Queensland

A team of enthusiastic staff from the Brisbane office recently challenged themselves by running the Bridge to Brisbane to raise money for Diabetes Queensland. The team now referred to as the Comscentre Comets, raised almost $2,000 from their friends, family and co-workers. The day was a success, with some completing the race with new personal bests and everyone finishing the 10kms. The race started at the southern side of the Eastern Sir Leo Hielscher Bridge, and the route took the team along Kingsford Smith Drive and the Inner City Bypass, towards the city, to finish up at the Ekka showgrounds in Bowen Hills.

The total combined amount from all those running in support of Diabetes Queensland was over $8,000. The funds will be used by Diabetes Queensland to help support vital research, health and education programs. Thank you to everyone who helped the team achieve their goal. If you would like to contribute, you can still do so at on our team fundraising page.
